About this session

In this session we will share key principles, practices and learnings from spiritual lineage centers that support individual and collective transformation.

Lineage centers have a particular flavor. Members have often made a long-term (even lifelong) commitment to the vision and teachings of the center. The vision is bigger than each of our lifetimes, stemming from hundreds of years both from the past and into the future. Compassionate or selfless service (karma yoga) is a core principle of how the centers operate, while providing paths of learning and awakening.

From this perspective, we'll share tools, meditations, stories, lessons and resources for you to take away to your own center.

Themes we’ll explore together include:

  • Practices and tools to sustain you through difficult times

  • Guided meditations and reflections

  • De-mystifying lineage centers

  • Ways a spiritual foundation can nurture resilience, sustainability and a long-term view in these uncertain times

  • How the path of selfless service (karma yoga) can offer a powerful practice of learning and transformation at centers - and help us best serve our communities and the planet.

We warmly invite you to join the session and share a journey together.
